G450 Tier-2

The G450 Tier-2 from Doosan Portable Power is a hardened packaged that has proven its worth on many jobsites. Inside the hardened, sound attenuated enclosure is a Leroy-Somer alternator that uses AREP – an extra set of windings that provides the G450 with better starting performance than competitors with shunt alternators. A Cummins engine and 22-hours of onboard fuel maximizes the G450’s uptime at any jobsite. Enhancing performance in even the most extreme temperatures is an optional Tundra Package, which ensures startup and reliable operation in temperatures as low as -40°F/°C. The package includes a coolant heater, oil pan heater, battery charger, battery heater pad and heated breather hose. The G450 also features an optional Canada certified fuel tank to comply with Canadian transportation laws.

Users can be easily trained to operate a G450 Tier-2 because it features Doosan Portable Power’s simple and well-lit control panel. Clearly labeled controls, visible gauges and a full diagnostic display allows operators to quickly assess problems and find an accurate solution. Accessible terminal and lug hookups make electrical connections safer and easier.
